Lightning II

More images than text today as we discussed lightning photography pretty thoroughly in yesterday’s post. Last night, however, was a pretty wild storm and I wanted to include a few more shots that I got during that storm. The stills are all created using the “Lightning Cam 2” app for iPhone. The app did a pretty remarkable job of capturing the images of lighting far out at sea in front of the condo. Quite the light show and you couldn’t beat the price of admission.

The lightning strikes were almost constant for about 45 minutes. What a great sight to watch the entire sky light up with one bolt after another. Watch the short video below and be aware of the fact that this is in real time.
